Summer Vacation

,
For the first time since I started gambling, it feels like work. And work that I apparently suck at. I'm taking a week off, partially because of my attitude, partially because I have a real world trip to Chicago at the end of the week. This is not the end of my baseball season. I fully plan to get back into baseball wagering on Memorial Day. Good luck this week.

stay away from the nats, there is no "value" there, they are just garbage.

good luck when you come back.

For how long though? A week? A month? Forever?

probably until they can prove they don't have the worst pitching staff of all time?

And I'm going to go ahead and predict the second you say it's okay to bet them again, is when there is no longer value.

define value.

the nats are -145 today w/ what appears to be 50/50 action on either side, so far.

will you be on them?

"define value"

In the context of how I said it, they would no longer be profitable to bet on when you establish they are no longer the worst pitching staff of all time.

"will you be on them?"

If I decide I want to be on Martis. He's been pretty stellar lately.

True Odds > Listed Odds

It really isn't that hard.

I hope the above poster is TheFiancee. Otherwise, you might need to re-examine your excessive use of smileys - defined as more than zero.

Poor use of grammar and punctuation aside, I use the exact same strategy for totals that I do sides, just substitute "over" for "favorite."
