Trisomy 21 - Preseason Edition

,
I need a better name for these type of posts. Throughout the year, I am going to make entries with the Covers posts that make me want to fade certain teams. I won't necessarily be playing everything I post here, but it should give you a bit of an idea what games I'm looking at for Week 1. Today, we'll look at four posts that caught my eye.

First, LASVEGASSPREAD gives us this gem:

Florida will win the ncg this year! im predicting it , it will happen. first game against hawaii.slaughter especiallly after the whole tim tebow system quarterback contro from last season.they should score alot and often against a hawaii defense that allowed 30+ points per game last year. Tebow will be all over the place and new running freshman sensation chris rainey who is lightning fast (40yd dash)4.2 sec. also great running skills in a crowd and good field awareness. Along with the wide recieving corp they have will very hard to beat this year. my lock 1st week florida 1sthalf-21
gl luckall

DoubleUp4Life
is "siked" about the possibly undefeated Golden Hurricane:

Tulsa -15 at Uab 10 Units

Are You Kidding me ?? Tulsa is going to blast these garbage bumbs//..

Tulsa Ran for 362 Yards on the Blazers Last year.

With the bottome 5 weakest schedule in the country

Tulsa could go 12-0 this year..

MY Guess is 10-2...

But anyways they Win this one by 23+

The Golden Hurricane will play with a chip on their shoulder all year...I was guessing this line would have been around 22 or 23 . I think by kickoff it will end up around 19. i WILL POUND THIS ONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Snowjocky has uncovered some new information on the Wolverines and Utes and wants to know why Michigan is a favorite. Obviously, Vegas hasn't considered this:

In the Vegas paper Michigan is -7 against Utah.
Mich. is returning 3 starters an a freshman QB on offense ,and 7 on defense.
Utah returns 8 starters on offense with a good QB (B. Johnson ).And 6 on defense .LY they averaged 26 points on OFF,and only gave up 16 on DEF.
DoubleUp4Life makes a return appearance. He employs Bayesian statistics well in this post:

RICE IS 15-4 VS SMU SINCE 1989
RICE IS 9-0 VS SMU AT HOME
WHY ARE PEOPLE ON SMU ???????

I'm sure Vegas had no idea about these trends before posting the line at Rice -3.

Anyway, like I said, this needs a better name, but it will be a regular feature every week. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of the types of things I am looking for in fades.
